RyzeUp is a sole trader business operated by David Lopez Lucchini. This policy explains how RyzeUp collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website, get in touch, or become a client.

Data controller: David Lopez Lucchini, trading as RyzeUp

What information we collect

We collect the following personal data in the course of running the business:

  • Enquiry form: name, business name, email address, phone number, service of interest, and any details you share about your business.
  • Client onboarding: if you become a client, we may also hold billing details, contract information, and correspondence related to delivering your website or SEO services.
  • Payment information: payments are handled directly by our payment provider — we do not store card details.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals
  • To deliver and manage services for clients, including invoicing
  • To send updates directly related to work you have requested
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your data or use it for purposes unrelated to your enquiry or project.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for enquiries submitted via the contact form
  • Contract — once you become a client, to deliver the agreed services
  • Legal obligation — to meet accounting and tax record-keeping requirements

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the business. Your data may be processed by:

Service Purpose
Formspree Processes and delivers website enquiry form submissions
FreeAgent Accounting and invoicing for clients
DocuSeal Preparing and signing client contracts
Stripe Processing client payments

We do not share your data with anyone else, and do not use it for advertising or marketing beyond direct communication about your enquiry or project.

How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries that don't become clients: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client records: retained for the duration of the working relationship plus the period required by UK tax and accounting law (typically 6 years).

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data where there is no lawful reason to keep it
  • Objection or restriction — object to or restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances
  • Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ryzeup.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational steps are taken to protect your data, including using reputable third-party providers that maintain their own security standards.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first at hello@ryzeup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
